1. Who we are

Built For Both (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates online. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our services.

2. What we collect

• Website usage: limited, aggregate figures such as pages visited and device type, from privacy-friendly analytics that does not identify you.

This website has no forms and keeps no database. If you email us, your message reaches us through your own email provider. The Get in Touch button takes you to Calendly, whose own privacy notice applies there.

3. How we use it

• To reply to you and answer your question.
• To provide the service you asked about.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We never sell your personal data.

4. Our lawful basis

• Legitimate interests: replying to an enquiry you sent us.
• Contract: providing a service you have signed up for.
• Legal obligation: where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

If you email us, your message is kept in our mailbox for up to 24 months from the date you contact us, then deleted. You can ask us to erase it sooner. Customer records are kept for as long as you are a customer, plus the period our accountants and the law require.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, and GDPR for visitors in the Republic of Ireland, you can ask us to:

• Access: give you a copy of what we hold about you.
• Correct: fix anything wrong.
• Erase: delete it, where there is no reason for us to keep it.
• Restrict: limit what we do with it.
• Port: send it to you in a machine-readable format.
• Object: stop processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent: at any time, where we relied on it.

7. Who else handles your data

A small number of providers run this website. Each only processes your data to provide its service:

• Vercel: hosts the website and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics.
• Calendly: if you book a call, you do that on Calendly's own site, under its own privacy notice.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies this site needs to work. Anything else stays off until you accept it on the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. See our cookie policy for the full list.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or, in the Republic of Ireland, the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top says when it was last revised.
